That's been my week.
Saturday: I got a chance to meet Sharon Newman Solo. She's an internationally known interpreter and a really nice person to boot. When I got back to my dorm, I got sick.
Sunday: Still sick. Aches, head hurts, sinus pressure, fever, the works.
Monday: Same, except add on pain in my elbows and knees. Plus the weather drops.
Tuesday: Go see the nurse who says I need to see the doctor who will not be in until the NEXT DAY! The pain is worse. (fever and pressure was gone though.) Go into town to the clinic, wait for 5 hours before I see a doctor. Do some blood work, take a nap waiting for results, etc. Doc give me meds and a not and sends me home.( I was there for a total of 7 hours! God blessed me with a paitent roomate though because she stayed with me unless she had a class.)
Wednesday: Actually feeling ok for once in 4 days, I catch up on homework that I couldn't do because I was sick. An hour after one of my last assignments for the day goes in, my computer crashes. I lost EVERYTHING!!!!! UGH! Not to mention the weather is still freakin' cold! It was enough by now to send me into slight hysterics.
The rest of the week has been ok. Still have the aches and the weather is crap. (supposed to be in the 40's all weekend. This is Alabama, geeze. I really don't ike my parents right now. They get 80 degree weather still.) Though I am still waiting for the results from the blood work to get back and worried over the possibility of having Rhuematiod Arthritus or Lupus- not a good thing to have when I want to be a sign language interpreter.
UGH.

According to Tasslehoff Burfoot, "Big people were made to do big things and small people were made to do small things." So I say its the small person's job to make sure the big people always have a smile on their face while they do their big things.
